Couchiching Conservancy: Kids’ Christmas Bird Count (Passport to Nature)

December 20, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Gather your fledglings for this half-day event celebrating the birds in our backyards!

Join us as we host the very first ever Couchiching Conservancy Christmas Bird Count for Kids (& other interested family members.) Come and discover the great outdoors together! Make this your NEW Family Christmas Tradition!

Please dress warmly (layers are best), as we will be outside all morning. Wear comfortable boots, a hat, and mittens or gloves. If you have binoculars or a field guide, feel free to bring them along – if you are still learning to use them, we’ll have experts on hand to give you tips. Cameras are also welcome.

Please note: a parent, grandparent or other adult must attend along with children. This event is best suited to age 7-and-older. Younger siblings are encouraged to tag-along as “Budding Birders” (with parental supervision.)

Leaders: Julia Wolst, Deb Halbot & Cathy Bernatavicus
