SUMMARY:Downsview Park: Stewardship
DESCRIPTION:A FREE stewardship activity geared towards teenagers or adults. \n \n\n\n\nJoin the Downsview Park Stewardship Team for an evening of outdoor activity\, no experience required.  We work to restore natural areas through activities like tree planting\, mulching\, wildlife surveys\, seed collection and invasive species removal. \nThis summer the Downsview Park Stewardship Team will be improving our meadows and forests through invasive species control and seed collection. \nWe’ll be active outside\, please bring clothes that can get dirty.  Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required and a water bottle is recommended.  Downsview Park provides tools\, training. \nAll ages are welcome but all participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact jdeshman [at] clc [dot] ca with any stewardship questions. \n\n\n\n  \nRegistration is encouraged but not required. Eventbrite page. \nDates and times for Summer 2016: \nJuly: 25\nAugust: 8\, 22\nSeptember: 12\, 26\nAll programs are 6:00-8:00pm \n
