DESCRIPTION:Take action to improve the health of the local watershed! Join Evergreen for citizen-science training and other activities taking place every month at Renfrew Ravine in Vancouver. By helping us monitor water quality\, as well as by removing invasive species and replacing them with native plants\, you can help ensure the ravine&#8217;s Still Creek waterway remains a vital and functioning part of the urban ecosystem. \nWho is a Citizen Scientist? That’s you! Become part of a growing network of active community members\, and: \n•  Learn about the local ecology of your watershed\n•  Help manage invasive species in the local ecosystem\n•  Plant native plants\n•  Monitor water quality in Still Creek \nPlease bring weather-appropriate clothing\, closed toe shoes and a water bottle or coffee mug.
