DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nThe 5-day March Break Day Camp focuses on exploring the winter forest and ravines in Toronto’s Don Valley. Campers aged 6–12 will adventure through the snowed valley discovering the wild side of nature in the winter. SUMMARY:March Break Camp at the Rouge Valley Conservation Centre
DESCRIPTION:The Rouge Valley Conservation Centre is excited to offer children ages 5-12 the opportunity to join our March Break Day Camp program from March 13 &#8211; 17\, 2017. Children will have an exciting and fun filled week exploring nature and learning about our daily themes with our trained staff. \nDates: \nCamp is offered on a weekly and daily registration basis from March 13 &#8211; 17\, 2017.  \nTime: \nCamp runs from 9 am &#8211; 4 pm. Extended care is offered from 8:30-9:00am and 4:00 &#8211; 4:30pm for an additional $30/child for the week or $6/day/child.\n \nRegistration fees:\n \nCost per child is $250 for the whole week or $50 per child for single days. Register before February 15\, 2017 and pay $220/child. Discounts are available for siblings enrolling on the same day(s) or for the whole week. SUMMARY:River Institute Tackles March Break Boredom by Mixing Science into the Great Outdoors
DESCRIPTION:CORNWALL\, ON.  &#8211; The St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences is tackling March Break boredom with a week full of natural fun and science at Cooper Marsh Visitor and Education Centre in South Lancaster.  From March 13th to the 17th\, this unique day camp will provide children\, aged 6 to 11\, with hands on opportunities to experience science and nature up close and personal.  Campers have the option of choosing to sign up for individual daily themed sessions or they can register for an entire week of non-stop fun and discovery. \nCristina Charette\, Education Programmer at the River Institute says\, “It is all about combining nature\, science\, and discovery in the great outdoors.  Each day is a new adventure with activities led by local scientists and naturalists”.  She adds\, “Cooper Marsh with its trails and Visitor Centre is the perfect location to spend March Break.” \n\nMarch 13th &#8211;  Feathered Friends\n\nBird is the word! Discover the fascinating world of birds. Find out where feathered friends go in the winter\, how they fly\, and what birds can be found in your own back yard. \n\nMarch 14th &#8211; Super Scientists\n\nFuture biologists\, chemists\, and ecologists are invited to become super scientists for a day by conducting experiments that are non-stop fun as well as educational. \n\nMarch 15th &#8211; Microscope Mania\n\nCooper Marsh campers look at the world the way a scientist see it – up close. The smallest objects can tell us big things. Bring along the tiniest items you have and see them in a brand new way – under the microscope. \n\nMarch 16th &#8211;  Eco Arts\n\nCooper Marsh is a natural work of art so campers are invited to become inspired by the great outdoors.  Imagination and nature are mixed with a little paint\, pencils\, wood\, music\, photography\, and inspiration for a day that celebrates arts and nature. \n\nMarch 17th &#8211;  Planet Protectors\n\nOur Planet Earth needs protecting.
