DESCRIPTION:The Chalet in Albion Hills Conservation Area is the perfect place for a unique provincial conference focusing on the children and nature movement in Ontario. The conference will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday October 26\, 2017. Come prepared for spending time both inside and in the great outdoors while learning about exciting initiatives underway in Ontario and Canada. \nAt the conference\, you will have the opportunity to network\, participate in sessions\, and learn about work being undertaken to connect children and nature including the unique research being conducted in Ontario by Andrea Faber Taylor\, University of Illinois.. Make sure you take advantage of the space and enjoy a health walk along one of the trails or choose a spot for a quiet nature reflection. \nCoffee\, tea\, and a hot lunch will be provided. Please make sure to include any food restrictions when you register. Transportation to and from the conference from Downsview Park Station in Toronto is available but space is limited.
