DESCRIPTION:Every year\, Forests Ontario brings together more than 300 landowners\, forestry professionals\, students\, educators and those passionate about our forests to explore key issues. Over the past 68 years\, we have explored challenges to our biodiversity\, the value of forests to our health and well-being\, and the importance of our forests to our communities. Join us every February as an attendee\, sponsor or exhibitor\, and take part in Ontario’s largest forestry conference. \n\n \nAs Ontarians\, we should take pride in knowing that we have some of the best managed forests in the world\, thanks to the many communities and families who have maintained our forests for generations. \nThe forests of Ontario have a great story to tell – so let’s start telling it! It takes a forest to keep us healthy\, support wildlife\, build our communities and fight climate change. As society makes critical decisions regarding our forests\, it is now more important than ever that we all understand the importance of this resource in a changing world. \nJoin us on February 10\, 2017 at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston\, as we discuss how it takes a forest to build healthy communities and a robust and prosperous society.
