DESCRIPTION:A FREE nature program for families. Connect with your natural world and come out to Downsview Park! \nDownsview Park staff will take you on a free indoor/outdoor Park program based on nature-themed topics to get you exploring the natural world\, starting with Downsview Park! \nJanuary 22\, 2016 Discovering Shelter \nShelter is a priority for all of us\, including the wildlife that live inside Downsview Park. During this program we will be exploring how some of Toronto’s wildlife shelter themselves during the colder seasons. Participants will also get to try out their shelter building skills when we build our own drey shelters in our forest. \nFor more information and directions\, please visit DownsviewPark.ca \nAll participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This program may take place on rough trails\, strollers are not recommended. Please do not bring animals to Nature Connection programs and remember to dress for the weather. \n
