DESCRIPTION:For full information\, please visit the Ausable Bayfield Conservation website here.  \nLocation: Morrison Dam Conservation Area\, just two kilometres east of Exeter \nAim and description:  \nThe first Summer Nature Day Camp takes place July 11-15\, 2016. This nature camp is for children ages 6 to 9. There are only 20 spots and registration is required. Each day of camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Early drop-off and late pick-up are available.) Cost is $170 per child per week. Camp organizers say the camp is a chance to question\, discover\, and learn all about the living natural world in a safe and friendly environment. SUMMARY:Downsview Park: Stewardship
DESCRIPTION:A FREE stewardship activity geared towards teenagers or adults.  \nJoin the Downsview Park Stewardship Team for an evening of outdoor activity\, no experience required.  We work to restore natural areas through activities like tree planting\, mulching\, wildlife surveys\, seed collection and invasive species removal.  \nThis spring the Downsview Park Stewardship Team will be focusing on planting native trees and shrubs and controlling one of our forest’s biggest threats: garlic mustard. \nRegistration is encouraged but not required. Details on the Downsview Park event page here.  \nWe&#8217;ll be active outside\, please bring clothes that can get dirty.  Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required and a water bottle is recommended.  Downsview Park provides tools\, training\, sunscreen and bug spray.  \nAll ages are welcome but all participants under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
