DESCRIPTION:  \nCome and join the Couchiching Conservancy to go Nuts About Nature! \nOur new 2016 Family Fun Fest will engage your entire family in a day full of activity and adventure amidst the beauty of the Carden landscape. We invite you to: \n– Join a Naturalist with Guided Junior Hikes on the Alvar\n– Thrill in a Birds of Prey Show with Master Falconer\, Matt Lieberknecht from Central Ontario School of Falconry\n– Build a birdfeeder or birdhouse of your own – materials donated by Brechin Timber Mart\n– Explore the wonders of life under the surface of a pond!\n– Be amazed by the skill and agility of Champion Certified Tracking Dogs\n– Meet and learn about all sorts of slimy\, scaly and feathered friends\n– Enjoy wagon rides\, ice cream\, bee exhibit\, make a rope\, nature crafts and more \nChildren must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dogs allowed on a leash\, but cannot be near the Birds of Prey show. \nNo registration is required for this event. \n
