DESCRIPTION:On Saturday March 25th\, 2017\, Fleming College’s Ecosystem Management Technology Program is hosting this year’s annual Ecosystem Health Conference: Healthy Planet\, Healthy Minds. The conference will explore our shared connections with the natural world\, and in particular the restorative powers of nature to improve our mental health and well-being. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Mark Henick\, a mental health advocate and Program Manager for Mental Health Works\, a social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association (view his 2013 TEDxToronto speech here). \nThe conference\, which will take place at Fleming College’s Frost Campus in Lindsay\,\nOntario\, also includes a day of workshops\, campus tours\, exhibits and vendors\, and concludes with a dinner\, silent auction\, panel discussion and reception following Mr. Henick’s keynote address. \nTo register\, or for more details\, visit: http://ecohealthconference.wixsite.com/ecohealthconference \n
