On Saturday March 25th, 2017, Fleming College’s Ecosystem Management Technology Program is hosting this year’s annual Ecosystem Health Conference: Healthy Planet, Healthy Minds. The conference will explore our shared connections with the natural world, and in particular the restorative powers of nature to improve our mental health and well-being. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Mark Henick, a mental health advocate and Program Manager for Mental Health Works, a social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association (view his 2013 TEDxToronto speech here).

The conference, which will take place at Fleming College’s Frost Campus in Lindsay,
Ontario, also includes a day of workshops, campus tours, exhibits and vendors, and concludes with a dinner, silent auction, panel discussion and reception following Mr. Henick’s keynote address.
